Unlocking the Power of Herbal Medicine with Dr. Bill Rawls
In this episode of Plant-Based Curious, I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Bill Rawls, a medical doctor and herbalist who is passionate about the power of herbs to support overall health and wellness. He shares his personal journey with Lyme disease and how it led him to explore the world of herbal medicine. Dr. Rawls explains how herbs work at the cellular level to promote health and fight disease, and he shares his top five favorite herbs, including ashwagandha, reishi mushrooms, turmeric, gotu kola, and milk thistle.
Dr. Rawls also discusses the importance of doing research before taking herbs and explains how his book, Unlocking Lyme, provides a comprehensive guide to understanding herbs and their health benefits. You can find more information about his work at his website, vitalplan.com, and his informational website for people struggling with various kinds of conditions, RawlsMD.com. This was a really informative episode that opens my eyes to the incredible power of herbal medicine.
